Emerge, P.C. was founded in 2005 by Helena Huckabee, Ph.D., BCBA. Recognizing a critical need for excellence in counseling, diagnosis and treatment, Dr. Huckabee drew from her years of education, experience and research in autism and neurosciences, to offer multi-disciplinary services suited to the diverse needs of our clients.

Our treatment model for Autism and related disorders utilizes the science of Applied Behavior Analysis and implements a variety of empirically supported approaches including Pivotal Response Treatment, Verbal Behavior, and Incidental Learning. Treatment goals and strategies are individually designed to maximize cognitive, social and emotional growth for each client. Our staff is always mindful of each client’s strengths and weaknesses as well as the family’s lifestyle and interests in order to optimize outcome in many dimensions.

Emerge P.C. also specializes in Personal Growth, Behavioral Management and Mental Health treatment and diagnosis. We approach these challenges with the same sensitivity, scientific knowledge, and commitment to each client and their family.
