Emerge, PC, a fast-growing, multi-disciplinary practice with professionals in psychology, behavior analysis, counseling, early childhood, speech/language pathology, and occupational therapy. We are looking for the right individuals to join our group in the positions specified below. Our practice works with families, children and individuals diagnosed with autism as well as other mental disabilities by providing services such as consultations, counseling, evaluations and intensive outreach therapy. Emerge, P.C. also participates and leads research projects. We currently have contracts with Littleton and Cherry Creek School Districts, Developmental Pathways, Imagine!, and Kaiser Permanente. Additionally, we are a practicum site for DU grad students and Dr. Huckabee is Adjunct Faculty at DU.
Behavior Therapist
We’re eager to hire successful candidates with a Bachelor’s degree or higher in psychology, behavior analysis or a related field. Experience with autism and or young children is essential. The most effective therapists have strong communication skills, work well as part of a team, successfully manage significant responsibility, and adhere to a high level of ethical standards.
A Behavior Therapist in our practice will work closely with young children and their families who have sought behavioral intervention for autism or other disabilities. Persons in this position record reliable and valid therapy data and constructively communicate progress to families and others.
Clinical Supervisor
This position requires a person with a Master’s degree or higher in psychology, behavior analysis or a related field and experience with autism and or young children is vital. The supervisor in this position must have strong communication skills, work well as part of a team, successfully manage significant responsibility, and adhere to the highest level of ethical standards.
A Clinical Supervisor in our practice will work closely with therapists and our clients who have sought behavioral intervention for autism or other disabilities. Persons in this position ensure successful treatment progress, can accurately create and interpret charts and data, comprehensively summarize client strengths and weaknesses, record reliable and valid data and constructively communicate progress to families and others. Clinical supervisors are also responsible for training and supervising Behavior Therapists as well as effectively supporting and assisting parents in expanding their knowledge and skills to assist their child. In addition, those in the supervisory position must also liaison effectively with school personnel and other community professionals and provide leadership in relevant research.
Psychologist/Master’s Level Counselor
We would love to have another psychologist or counselor join this fast-growing group. If you’re an individual with a Master’s degree or higher in psychology, behavior analysis or a related field you may be the right fit for us. This is not an easy task as the successful candidate would need to have expertise in Autism/Asperger's even while we provide services to a lot of other populations as well. The second challenge is that this person would need to initially be part-time until their practice grew. Additionally, skills as an excellent communicator, being able to work as a team and abiding by the highest ethical standards are a must.
A Psychologist/ Master’s Level Counselor in our practice will work closely with our clients and will build a clientele of their own. We see many individuals, from those who have sought behavioral intervention for autism or other disabilities to those with counseling needs for mental health challenges.
